We're looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to help take our build and deployment automation to the next level. As a Junior DevOps Engineer you will help build the development and deployment infrastructure used by our Space Communications team, which provides infrastructure for a wide variety of US Government satellites.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE FOCUSING ON\nSupporting AWS-hosted and on-premises Kubernetes environments.\nHelping maintain reliable, secure, and highly available platform infrastructure.\nMaintaining and improving GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support software delivery.\nDeveloping and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.\nAssisting with Kubernetes application deployments using Helm.\nTroubleshooting infrastructure, platform, and application issues across AWS and Kubernetes environments.\nPartnering with software engineers to improve deployment automation and developer workflows.\nContinuously improving platform observability, automation, reliability, and operational efficiency.\nSupporting software deployments into classified environments.\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\nExperience working in Linux environments.\nHands-on experience with Python or Go through professional work, internships, coursework, or personal projects.\nExposure to Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, or other cloud-native technologies.\nExperience using Git for source control.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.\nAbility to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government TS/SCI clearance\nYOU MIGHT BE A GOOD FIT IF \nYou enjoy building and automating technical solutions.\nYou like digging into complex technical problems and figuring out how things work.\nYou’ve built projects outside of the classroom or workplace because you’re curious and enjoy learning.\nYou’re comfortable collaborating with teammates and asking questions when you need help.\nYou take ownership of your work and are eager to continuously improve your technical skills.\nYou’re excited to work on mission-critical software that supports national security\n LOCATION\nThis role is a hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, CO that offers flexibility while supporting collaboration on classified work.
