With new projects and continued growth, we are seeking a Contracts Administratorto support our project teams.\nThe opportunity\nReporting to the Commercial Manager, the Contracts Administratorwill support all aspects of contract administration, Subcontract and supplier packages, procurement, cost management, and claims management through to contract close out across the project delivery lifecycle.\nThis is a FIFO project site-based role, working 14 days on, 7 days off. When not engaged on a project this role will be office based.\nKey responsibilities\nAdminister head contracts, subcontracts and supplier agreements. \nManage variations, progress claims, payment processes, and contract correspondence. \nSupport procurement, tender evaluations, and contract award processes. \nMonitor project costs, forecasts, and commercial performance. \nAssist with delay, disruption, and extension of time claims. \nMaintain contractual records, registers, and reporting requirements. \nSupport contract close-out activities, including final accounts and release of securities. \nEscalate project issues, emerging commercial risks, and contractual concerns in a timely and structured manner. \nLead by example and ensure all department non-negotiables are implemented and followed.\nCarry out all activities in such a manner to ensure a safe working environment. \nAbout you\nDegree or relevant qualification in Business, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar, or equivalent industry experience. \nMinimum 5 years' experience in contract administration, commercial administration or project cost administration, with demonstrated experience on a minimum of 2 project sites.\nStrong understanding of contracts, procurement, and commercial management within a project environment. \nExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. \nAdvanced Excel skills; exposure to Sage X3 or similar ERP systems is advantageous. \nHighly effective written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nWhy join Spiecapag?\nJoin a collaborative project environment where your procurement expertise will directly support the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of major infrastructure works.
