around a service-based architecture with 30+ independently deployable services.\nOur backend ecosystem includes:\nJava 19 & Spring Boot\nService-based architecture (30+ services)\nEureka Service Registry\nREST APIs with OpenFeign\nRabbitMQ for asynchronous communication\nPostgreSQL\nShared databases for selected services\nWhat You'll Build\nYou'll work on backend services powering SpinOne, including:\nBackup & Recovery functionality\nGoogle Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce and Slack integrations\nEnterprise access control and permissions\nAudit logs and administration features\nData synchronization and processing pipelines\nHigh-volume asynchronous workflows\nCloud storage integrations\nSome of the upcoming engineering challenges include:\nBuilding a new Google Directory Backup integration\nDesigning scalable data storage for Google APIs\nDeveloping backup and restore processes\nSupporting migrations to new third-party APIs (e.g. Microsoft Graph)\nMaking integrations resilient to API limitations, retries and partial failures\nResponsibilities & Engineering Culture\nAfter the onboarding period, you'll own features throughout their entire lifecycle.\nThis includes:\nanalyzing business requirements and identifying missing scenarios\ndiscussing requirements with Product Owners\nparticipating in technical planning and estimation\ndesigning technical solutions together with the team\nimplementing features\nwriting and maintaining tests\nparticipating in code reviews\nfixing QA findings\nsupporting releases\nmonitoring production after release\ninvestigating production issues and customer-reported defects\nOur engineers are expected to take ownership, proactively suggest improvements, and actively participate in technical discussions.\nMust-have Requirements\n4+ years of commercial backend development experience.\nStrong experience with Java and Spring Boot.\nExperience with Java 19.\nExperience with MyBatis.\nStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL.\nConfident SQL skills.\nExperience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans.\nUnderstanding of indexes and database performance basics.\nExperience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.\nExperience with REST API development and integration.\nAbility to work with complex product logic and enterprise-level workflows.\nGood communication skills and ownership
