By hiring the best and brightest minds-and that’s why we want you!\nJob Description:\nWhat will you work on?\nReporting to the Senior Manager, Credit & Collections, the Credit & Collections Analyst will be responsible for assessing customer credit risk, timely collecting outstanding debts owed to the Company, as well as reconciling and managing customer accounts receivable. The Credit & Collections Analyst should be able to understand and translate large amounts of financial information, negotiate tactfully, and persistently contact customers to collect amounts owed to the Company. This role supports cash flow management by monitoring credit limits, analyzing payment trends and resolving billing/ payment disputes. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment.\nHow will you create impact?\nReview and analyze customer credit applications and financial information\n\nMake recommendations to increase/decrease or revoke customer credit limits based on financial information, payment history and order cadence\n\nMonitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify accounts to be collected according to the Company’s collections strategy\n\nConduct collection activities via phone, email, and written communication\n\nInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment disputes\n\nMaintain accurate records of customer accounts and collection activities\n\nCollaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams on account issues\n\nRecommend credit holds or account escalations when necessary\n\nPrepare reports on credit exposure, collection performance, and aging trends\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, internal controls and audit requirements\n\nSupport all projects under the Company’s digital transformation initiatives\n\n What are your skills and experience?\nPost-secondary degree/diploma in finance, business or related field\n\n2-5 years previous experience as a collector (CPG/ public company preferred)\n\nDemonstrated experience improving the collection process\n\nExperience with SAP (or other large ERP system), High Radius an asset\n\nStrong computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office and advanced level Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups, and advanced formulas)\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively and act with a strong sense of urgency\n\nStrong organizational skills, self-initiative with a process improvement mindset\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people at different levels within the organization\n\n#LI-Hybrid and #LI-HM1\nThe anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $60,000 to $65,000 Per Annum.
