By hiring the best and brightest minds-and that’s why we want you!\nJob Description:\nWhat will you work on?\nBased onsite in Wilton, CT, you will develop a wide range of original children’s products that deliver on our mission while driving incremental revenue growth. You will take products from initial concept through to final production, collaborating closely with Brand, Content, Licensing, Packaging, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.\nHow will you create impact?\nDevelop innovative children’s products utilizing a wide range of materials including wood, plastic, metal, and fabric\n\nTranslate consumer trends, market insights, and marketing briefs into unique, market-viable product concepts\n\nRender and sketch product designs rapidly to present concepts for management approval\n\nGenerate accurate 2D and 3D product specifications and drawings that account for cost, ergonomics, safety, and manufacturing constraints\n\nBuild physical prototypes utilizing workshop tools and 3D printers to test design concepts\n\nCollaborate with the Content team to integrate graphic, editorial, and illustrative assets onto products\n\nPartner with Packaging and Structural Packaging teams to define product layout and overall packaging dimensions\n\nReview and provide technical feedback on manufacturing drawings and overseas prototypes\n\nMaintain constant communication with cross-functional creative and development partners throughout the entire design lifecycle\n\n What are your skills and experience?\nUndergraduate degree (BFA) in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field\n\nProfessional product design experience within the consumer products or toy industry, with preferred experience in the infant category\n\nTechnical drawing and sketching expertise with the ability to quickly communicate product concepts\n\nAdvanced knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, with specific emphasis on wood and plastics\n\nComplete understanding of design for manufacturing, including cost drivers, capabilities, and tooling limitations\n\nExpertise in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks and digital rendering using KeyShot\n\nProficiency in 2D design platforms including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop\n\nA professional portfolio demonstrating a strong balance of aesthetic form, technical drawing accuracy, and structural product development\n\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-HM1\nThe anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Connecticut is $68,200 to $90,900 Per Annum.
