The hospital is committed to providing exceptional care and support to its patients, ensuring that they feel comfortable and well looked after throughout their time at the hospital.\nPlease note that access to your own transport is essential due to limited public transport links.\nYou MUST live within 45 mins from the Hospital\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nLead the delivery of safe, efficient, and compliant engineering services across the hospital site.\nEnsure best practice and consistency in all aspects of engineering and estates management.\nOversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.\nManage and develop a skilled team of site engineers and handymen, supporting their professional growth.\nEnsure full compliance with Spire’s Fire Policy and all regulatory requirements, including CQC and Public Health England standards.\nAct as the hospital’s Approved Person (AP) for key systems including medical gases, water safety, low voltage electrical services, decontamination equipment, and heating & ventilation.\nWho We’re Looking For:\nWe are looking for a confident and experienced Engineering or Estates Lead with:\nAP Qualification is desired.\nA relevant background in electrical, plumbing, or building services engineering. \nPrevious experience of working within a hospital or healthcare environment is an essential requirement of this role.\nStrong management experience essential.\nPrevious experience in managing a team.\nProven ability to lead and develop teams.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nA proactive, flexible approach and commitment to continuous improvement.\nContract Type: Permanent -
