You will work closely with senior PA staff, engineering teams, and project managers to support the full lifecycle of Product Assurance activities.\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nYou will support the implementation of Product Assurance processes across assigned projects or subsystems, including:\nContributing to the definition and flow-down of PA requirements based on customer and project specifications\nSupporting compliance verification activities and helping document/justify deviations where required\nAssisting in the development and maintenance of Project PA Plans and ensuring they are followed throughout the project lifecycle\nParticipating in reviews, audits, and technical meetings, providing PA input as needed\nSupporting the management of non-conformities internally and with suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and visibility\nHelping prepare, review, and maintain project Quality documentation\nSupporting reliability, dependability, and safety analysis activities under guidance from senior PA staff\nContributing to supplier quality oversight, including documentation reviews and participation in supplier meetings\nAssisting with hardware qualification, component selection, and technology validation activities\nSupporting risk management processes and contributing to mitigation planning\nHelping capture and promote lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives across projects\nMain Interfaces:\n\nSpire Program Manager and PMO team\nSpire Program Delivery and Engineering teams\nCustomer PA representatives (with support from senior PA staff)\nSupplier and partner QA representatives\nBasic Skills/Qualifications:\n\nExperience in the space, aerospace, or other high-reliability engineering domain\nUnderstanding of Product Assurance or Quality Assurance principles\nFamiliarity with standards used in high-reliability environments (e.g., ECSS, NASA, DO-254/178, ISO)\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams\nDetail-oriented mindset with a structured approach to documentation and compliance\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\n\nKnowledge of ECSS standards (or willingness to learn)\nExperience with non-conformity management tools or quality systems\nExposure to reliability, safety, or dependability analysis\nProactive, curious, and eager to develop within the Product Assurance discipline\nSpire operates a hybrid work model, and this position will require you to work a minimum of three days per week in the office.\nAccess to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be requiredfor this role.
