Working closely with business leaders, project teams, and key stakeholders to define project objectives, establish clear plans, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.\nYou will provide hands-on leadership throughout the project lifecycle, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and maintain clear communication to keep projects aligned and on track. Project governance and documentation must be proportionate to project size, risk and aligned with EPMO standards.\nRole and Responsibilities\nLead projects from initiation through implementation and closeout, ensuring delivery within approved scope, timelines, and budget.\nPartner with business leaders and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, deliverables, and success measures.\nEstablish proportionate project governance, a RACI matrix, decision and approval authorities, escalation paths, and delivery gates in alignment with EPMO standards.\nEstablish and lead a consistent project cadence, including weekly delivery meetings and status updates, sponsor reviews, and steering committee meetings appropriate to project needs.\nProvide accurate, evidence-based status reporting covering milestone progress, budget and forecast, resource capacity, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions required. Explain variances and corrective actions.\nMaintain a current risk, issue, assumption, and dependency log with owners, mitigation actions, due dates, and escalation triggers\nIndependently create and maintain the required project documentation from inception through closure.\nDefine deliverable acceptance criteria and coordinate quality reviews, testing and user acceptance testing where applicable.\nSelect and apply appropriate predictive, agile, or hybrid delivery methods within EPMO standards; tailor controls to the project while maintaining clear accountability and traceability.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, templates, tools, and governance practices.\nProvide coaching and guidance to project team members and stakeholders on project management expectations and practices.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.\nMinimum of 5 years of progressive project management experience, including responsibility for leading cross-functional projects.\nDemonstrated experience independently leading cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation and closeout.\nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, tools, and best practices.\nProficiency with project scheduling, collaboration tools and Microsoft Office.\nExperience supporting change management, process improvement, or business transformation initiatives is an asset.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred. \nExperience in a complex, multi-business, retail, manufacturing, or regulated environment is an asset.\nWhat Makes SNDL a Great Place to Grow:\nCompetitive compensation including performance-based bonuses and annual salary reviews.\nComprehensive health and dental benefits, including a Healthcare Spending Account.\nThree weeks of paid vacation with annual rollover.\nFlexible, hybrid work arrangements to support work-life balance.\nRecognition and rewards programs that celebrate individual and team achievements.\nEmployee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) with mental health, financial, and family support.\nEmployee perks and discounts program, offering savings across fitness, wellness, lifestyle, retail, and everyday services\nWe are grateful for the interest in this role from all candidates, however, we will be contacting only those that are selected for next steps in the hiring process.\nOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion\nSNDL is an equal opportunity employer.
