You will work closely with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure our software meets the highest standards of functionality and performance while we scale our operations to meet team and organization goals. As an individual contributor, you will be able to balance pace with perfection and understand tradeoffs in how you deliver your work.\nDesign and implement scalable and efficient back-end systems using Node, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Develop APIs and services that support robust application functionality.\nUtilize PostgreSQL to design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and optimizing performance across a Heroku Connect/Salesforce-based data infrastructure.\nDevelop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda and IaC platforms such as Terraform and AWS CDK.\nWork with AI technologies for both your day-to-day role as an engineer and also for new product implementations, leveraging APIs with major AI platforms\nCollaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end services with a modern React ecosystem (Next.js, Tailwind, Vercel, etc), ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.\nParticipate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.\nWork closely with product managers and QA teams to gather requirements, identify issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions.\nMaintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that software is reliable, efficient, and meets established standards and specifications.\nStay current with industry trends and technologies, recommending improvements and adopting best practices for software development and cloud computing.\nThe salary range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.\nAbout You\n4-6 years of experience as a full-stack engineer with a strong focus on back-end technologies\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for front-end and back-end development\nStrong experience with Node.js for building server-side applications\nExpertise in PostgreSQL (or similar) and database design\nExperience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS Lambda\nExtensive experience working with Claude Code (or similar) to build tools and workflows that accelerate the development lifecycle; not just individual chat use or vibe coding\nHands-on experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation\nExperience implementing and working with modern analytics tools for event tracking and reporting (Mixpanel, Posthog, Google Analytics, etc)\nStrong experience working with testing and quality engineering tools such as Playwright, Jest, and/or Mocha\nSolid understanding of modern cloud computing pipelines and the full software development lifecycle\nProven experience working directly with product and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery\nExperience with Heroku Connect and Salesforce platforms is a plus\nCandidates must be located in the United States.
