FP&A Senior Analyst

We are currently looking for a FP&A Senior Analyst to join our Finance Team based in Athens.

The FP&A Analyst will be accountable for developing and maintaining Group’s financial and business planning models (budgets, forecasts, scenarios), performing analyses that will provide insights to drive business decisions, developing cross-functional KPIs to assess their impact in financial performance and preparing impactful presentations to communicate the aforementioned to internal and external stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting and analysis according to the company’s goals and financial status
• Analyze operational and financial data to create business models driving well-informed decisions
• Provide cost improvement recommendations and improve financial performance
• Evaluate and report financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Conduct business studies on past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends that will lead to solid suggestions for improvements
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
• Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure accuracy in reporting
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools
• Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function

Requirements

• BSc in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field
• CIMA accreditation, MBA, MSc in Business/ Decision sciences or similar will be considered an asset
• 5+ years of working experience in high-responsibility roles in Business and Financial Analysis
• Proven knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
• Highly proficient in spreadsheets and presentations development
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency and business acumen
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and relevant packages
• Exceptional presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and IFRS reporting
• Self-starter, initiative-taker, hands-on doer and strategic thinker
