Within Core Experience, our What to Play team builds the technology and shared capabilities that help Spotify deliver intuitive, reliable, and consistent listening experiences.\nWe're looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to shape the systems behind these experiences, from content distribution and mobile app architecture to shared user interface capabilities. You'll work closely with engineering and cross-functional partners to improve how Spotify works today while building flexible, scalable foundations for the future.\nWhat You'll Do\nDefine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, connecting technical investments to listener needs and Spotify's broader goals.\nPartner with engineering teams to explore technical solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and guide decisions that improve product performance, reliability, and scalability.\nDevelop shared platform capabilities that help teams build consistent, high-quality experiences across Spotify.\nImprove the adoption and long-term value of platform capabilities by gathering feedback, measuring outcomes, and supporting teams that use them.\nBalance new product opportunities with technical improvements, including system performance, quality, simplification, and platform migrations.\nCollaborate with Design, Data Science, and User Research to understand user needs, define success measures, and make informed product decisions.\nUse experimentation, prototypes, technical exploration, and feedback to test ideas, learn quickly, and adapt your approach.\nBuild alignment across teams by communicating priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly, helping partners work toward shared outcomes.\nWho You Are\nYou have 5+ years of product management experience, including experience building or improving technical platforms, shared systems, or capabilities that support consumer products.\nYou understand client and backend technologies and can work with engineers to connect technical decisions to user needs and business outcomes.\nYou're familiar with mobile development for iOS or Android, including areas such as app performance, reliability, user interface architecture, instrumentation, or design systems.\nYou have experience guiding products or platforms beyond launch, improving adoption, managing technical debt, and supporting systems as needs evolve.\nYou can evaluate technical trade-offs and make thoughtful decisions about when to improve existing systems, simplify solutions, or invest in new capabilities.\nYou use data, research, experimentation, and sound judgment to make product decisions, including when traditional A/B testing isn't the right approach.\nYou communicate complex ideas clearly, welcome different perspectives, and build strong relationships across engineering, design, and data teams.\nYou're comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking ownership of complex challenges, and adapting your approach as you learn.\nWhere You'll Be\nWe offer you the flexibility to work where you work best!
