Sprague is a place that cares about its employees, its community, and about creating a place where people want to come to work every day.\nA high-level summary of key activities follows:\nResearch acquisition targets and/or potential joint venture opportunities and make recommendations to senior management.\nLead/support the valuation and due diligence efforts for acquisitions and/or potential 3rd-party joint venture projects. \nSupport the integration efforts of acquisitions in all business segments, including developing implementation plans, monitoring acquisition efforts in all functional areas, and working on post-acquisition projects as appropriate.\nSupport the business unit leaders through the process to identify/research organic business development/growth opportunities, quantify/qualify the ROI and risks of each business investment, help establish priorities, and develop and execute plans.\nProvide analytics and insights into asset optimization efforts as appropriate.\nAnalyze financial statements and data and create financial models for decision support\nAnalyze industry trends and make recommendations\nComplete post-op analysis on prior growth projects or acquisitions/JVs and provide recommendations for improving the business value of these investments.\nEstablish and maintain key working relationships with department heads and business leaders.\nSupport the budgeting/forecasting process for the business development function, including cross-company growth projects/initiatives.\nComplete other Business Development activities as requested.\nThis role will work out of our Portsmouth, NH headquarters.\nPlus, we have some great benefits!\n401(k) Traditional and Roth plans with employer match of 100% of the first 6% of the employee’s contribution\nDefined Contribution Plan with an automatic contribution from Sprague\nPaid Volunteer Time\nFlexible Working Policy\nChoice of high deductible and PPO Health Plans to fit your individual needs\nWellness Program\nWe want to hear from you!\nQualified candidates will have the following:\nUndergraduate degree in finance or related business degree; MBA a plus.\n2-4 years of business or financial and M&A analysis experience preferred.\nAdept at assessing and interpreting operational and financial statements and developing forward projections and business plans.\nDemonstrated knowledge of how to value the ROI of a project or company, including the use of discounted cash flow/scenario analysis.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines.\nProficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nWho we are:\nSprague takes a collaborative, customer-centric approach to providing best-in-class energy products and related services throughout the Northeast.
