Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.\nReporting to the SVP, Provider Operations, the Director of Network Strategy & Analytics will drive the strategy and analytical framework for growing and measuring the health of Spring Health and Alma’s combined network of 40,000+ providers. This role will ensure we have the right provider supply and capacity to accelerate growth while improving network efficiency and provider experience.\nThe Director will translate complex network data into clear strategy and action-determining where and how our network should grow, identifying opportunities to better utilize existing capacity, and building the forecasting and insights needed to make proactive network decisions.This is a full time hybrid position on our team with 3 days per week required in person at our New York HQ office.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDefine where and how the network should grow, balancing new provider growth with better utilization of existing capacity.\n\nOwn the frameworks and metrics used to assess network health, including supply-demand balance, capacity, utilization, retention, and provider satisfaction.\n\nTranslate network insights into clear priorities and actions that improve growth, access, provider experience, and efficiency.\n\nPartner across Provider Operations, Product, Data, Clinical, Commercial, and other teams to execute against network priorities.\n\nSet the analytical agenda for Provider Operations, building the forecasting, reporting, and insights needed to anticipate network needs and make better decisions.\n\nUse AI and automation to accelerate analysis, reduce manual reporting, identify network opportunities, and increase the team’s capacity for strategic work.\n\nPartner with Data Science, BI, and Product to develop scalable analytical and predictive capabilities for managing the network.\n\nLead and develop three Senior Business Analysts, setting clear priorities and raising the bar for analytical rigor and business impact.\n\nBuild a team that proactively identifies opportunities and recommends action rather than simply responding to reporting requests.\n\nCreate scalable ways of working that enable the team to support an increasingly large and complex provider network.\n\nWhat success looks like in this role:\nNetwork growth: Achieve provider growth and capacity targets in the markets and segments where supply is most needed.\n\nSupply-demand health: Improve priority supply-demand, capacity, utilization, and access metrics.\n\nNetwork efficiency: Increase utilization of existing provider capacity and improve the efficiency of network growth.\n\nProvider experience: Maintain or improve provider retention and satisfaction.\n\nAnalytics impact: Improve our ability to anticipate network needs and make faster, more proactive decisions through better forecasting, analytics, and AI-enabled insights.\n\nWhat you’ll bring:\n8+ years of experience in strategy, analytics, operations, consulting, marketplace strategy, or a related field.\n\nStrong experience with supply-demand strategy, capacity planning, forecasting, or network/marketplace optimization.\n\nExceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategy, recommendations, and business decisions.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.\n\nExperience leading and developing high-performing analytical talent.\n\nStrong AI fluency and demonstrated ability to use AI and automation to improve analytical workflows, insights, and team productivity.\n\nProficiency with SQL, Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Looker.\n\nHealthcare, provider network, or other complex marketplace experience preferred.\n\nBenefits provided by Spring Health:\nNote: We have even more benefits than listed here and below, your recruiter will provide more in-depth information as you continue in the interview process.
