We’re seeking experienced Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhTs) who are passionate about helping learners master core skills and gain confidence in their new career path.\nAs a Learning Mentor, you’ll serve as both a technical tutor and a motivational coach -guiding students through challenging topics, demonstrating key pharmacy workflows, and preparing them for success on the NHA ExCPT exam and in their externship experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nMentorship & Skill Development\nConduct 1:1 and/or small group virtual sessions to support technical skill-building and exam readiness.\nProvide live feedback and coaching on student skill demonstrations and challenging areas of the curriculum. \nBreak down complex topics (e.g., dosage calculations, pharmacy law, conversions) into simple, visual lessons.\nOffer insight into real-world pharmacy settings to help students understand day-to-day responsibilities.\nStudent Support\nRespond promptly and empathetically to learner questions.\nHelp students foster a growth mindset and provide encouragement when facing obstacles. \nTrack progress and flag students at risk of falling behind.\nPartner with internal teams to provide timely interventions and keep students on track.\nCollaboration & Training\nParticipate in mentor training, team meetings, and ongoing program improvement efforts.\nMaintain alignment with Program Operations and Career Success teams for consistency and learner experience.\nQualifications\nRequired\nActive CPhT certification (PTCB or NHA) and current state licensure.\nAssociate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.\n4+ years of experience as a practicing Pharmacy Technician.\nExperience teaching, mentoring, or coaching students in healthcare or vocational training.\nStrong communication and presentation skills.\nProficiency with Zoom, Google Workspace, and online learning platforms.\nPreferred\nPrior experience preparing learners for certification exams.\nExperience in online bootcamps, allied health programs, or adult education.\nFamiliarity with diverse learner populations.\nAvailability during weekdays for maximum scheduling flexibility.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
