We are driven by the belief that all children deserve a world-class education and that they can and will achieve when provided with high expectations, rigorous curriculum, and a joyful school culture. \nSalary Range: $58,000 - $90,000.\nWhat makes teaching Special Education at Springfield Prep different?\nCollaboration with Classroom Teachers and the Special Education Team is the norm\nWeekly 1-on-1 coaching in your first year; bi-weekly coaching for all teachers\nWeekly, professional development and team meeting time built into the schedule (students dismiss at 12:30 pm on Fridays to accommodate this)\nResources, support, and planning time to develop and refine curriculum and lesson plans\nIncredible Operations and School Culture teams so you can focus on teaching\nWhat will you do as a Special Education Teacher at our School?\nJoin a mission-driven community where everyone works together towards a common goal.\nPlan and deliver specialized pull-out instruction and push-in support to the students on your caseload. \nComplete all IEP and Progress Report paperwork in accordance with DESE regulations. \nUse organization and communication skills to manage all aspects of your students’ IEPs by serving as a liaison for classroom teachers, families, and other instructional support staff and service providers to ensure that your students succeed in a general education classroom and meet the goals and objectives of their IEPs. \nExemplify your conviction that all students, regardless of their background, can achieve at the highest levels by using student achievement data to drive and differentiate your instruction, including students with learning differences.\nBuild relationships with students and families to create a positive classroom culture with high expectations and respect for students' diverse backgrounds and identities.\nTeach and uphold school-wide expectations and systems for student behavior.\nGrow as an educator through weekly coaching and professional development.\nWho should apply?\nOur community and student body are diverse, and we believe that we can best achieve our mission when our leadership, teachers, and staff reflect our students’ identities.
