Your adventure begins here - because Opportunity Changes Everything!\nKey Duties and Responsibilities:\nPlan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs in collaboration with the supervisor.\nOversee daily program operations, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and licensing requirements.\nSupervise, schedule, train, and support program staff, volunteers, and practicum students.\nParticipate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management.\nManage program budgets, expenditures, financial records, and reporting.\nBuild community awareness through promotion, partnerships, and public engagement.\nCollaborate with community agencies and professionals to coordinate services and referrals.\nMaintain accurate records, statistics, and reports to support program accountability.\nQualifications:\nDiploma in a related human/social service field\nMinimum of three (3) years recent related experience, including one (1) year supervisory or administrative experience\nOr an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.\nAdditional Information:\nThis position is open to all applicants\nThis position requires union membership\nHours: 40 hours per week, Sunday and Monday: 7am - 3pm, Tuesday to Thursday: 11am - 7pm\nRate of Pay: $33.77 per hour\nClosing Date:Upon until filled\nBGC Okanagan is committed to equitable hiring practices.
