We're looking for a Security Guard / ESS Operator to keep a U.S. military facility secure around the clock: monitoring the Electronic Security System (ESS), controlling who comes and goes, and responding fast when an alarm sounds. What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities): Monitoring & response: Maintain 24/7 monitoring of the ESS, quickly addressing alarms, alerts, and anomalies; if the system goes down, step into a dedicated sentry role to keep intrusion detection high. Access control: Enforce entry/exit procedures, screen personnel and hand-carried items per post orders, and escort non-cleared personnel within controlled and restricted areas. Communications & reporting: Operate the radio network control system and report incidents, system anomalies, and ESS repair needs to the Lead Guard / Security Manager.
