This team oversees the creation, deployment, and ongoing support of software applications and systems. We are looking for someone with experience in integrating third-party applications, software development, conducting regular updates, and ensuring software meets business needs and performance standards.\nWhat Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):\nDeploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, RackSpace/OpenStack). Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools. Configures management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt). Architecture for continuous integration and deployment, and continuous monitoring. Uses and works with containerization technologies (e.g., LXC, Docker, Rocket).\nShall maintain, manage, and update current and future third-party software (e.g., COTS and GOTS tools) and ensure full compatibility, usability, security, and optimal performance.\nShall apply updates, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with software vendors as needed to resolve issues or implement changes.\nShall maintain, manage, and update current and future application programming interfaces (APIs), ensuring full compatibility, usability, security, and optimal performance.\nShall develop, maintain, and custom software solutions when the Government determines no other solution is available to meet the LD requirements.\nShall ensure software development adheres to industry standards, best practices, DOJ, and FBI standards for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nShall develop, maintain, and provide documentation for all software (third party or developed), to include APIs, scripting, automation, changes, testing, and user/administrator guides.\nShall implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of software applications, when required by the government.\nShall conduct regular code reviews, secure coding techniques, vulnerability scanning, and testing (unit, integration, system, and user acceptance) to ensure quality and performance, when required by the government.\nShall collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements ensuring software solutions align with Laboratory objectives and user needs.\nShall provide training and support to internal teams on new software applications and updates to ensure smooth adoption and effective use.\nShall stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously evaluating and integrating new tools and practices to enhance software development and maintenance processes.\nShall design, develop, deliver, and sustain automated functional Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processing and pipelines and validate extracted data from structured and unstructured inputs.\nShall validate data that is extracted from structured and unstructured data sources, databases, and other repositories, using scripts and other automated capabilities to load data, logs, and queries.\nShall advise government personnel on incremental changes that could lead to continuous improvement in products or processes.\nWhat You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):\n Top Secret (TS) security clearance\n2-4 years of experience in a DevOps role\nHave experience with Scaled Agile Framework for the Enterprise (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban.\nIdeally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):\nExperience working in a multisystem environment to include FBINET, UNET, LabAPP, Sensor Management System, Sample Tracking (Visi-Trac RFID), Records Management System, ADAMS Web, STACS-DB (Sample Tracking and Control System -
