This position supports the modernization, administration, and sustainment of a mission-critical leadership dashboard hosted within the Advana platform, utilizing Databricks and Qlik Sense to provide enterprise cybersecurity reporting and eMASS data visualization for senior leadership.\nThis role is ideal for a technical professional with expertise in enterprise data platforms, systems administration, dashboard development, and data engineering who enjoys building secure, scalable solutions that enable informed decision-making across large organizations.\nThe Senior Systems Administrator / Data Platform SME will lead the administration and enhancement of an enterprise analytics platform supporting Marine Corps cybersecurity operations. This individual will develop and maintain secure data pipelines, administer Databricks environments, build advanced Qlik Sense dashboards, implement enterprise data governance practices, and ensure the platform remains reliable, secure, and optimized for operational use.\nIn addition to technical execution, this role will partner closely with government stakeholders to produce technical documentation, support operational transitions, and provide knowledge transfer that ensures long-term sustainment of the platform.\nWhat Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):\nAdminister, optimize, and sustain the Advana data platform supporting enterprise cybersecurity reporting and analytics.\nDesign, develop, and maintain secure data ingestion pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data models utilizing Databricks and Qlik Sense.\nDevelop and enhance executive dashboards and visualizations that provide timely, accurate cybersecurity metrics and operational insights for Marine Corps leadership.\nIntegrate and manage eMASS data through secure API connections while ensuring data quality, validation, governance, and compliance with DoD standards.\nConfigure and administer Databricks environments, including PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and enterprise security controls.\nDevelop advanced Qlik Sense applications utilizing load scripting, Set Analysis, custom extensions, and QMC administration.\nDesign and implement enterprise data governance processes, metadata management, and standardized reporting solutions.\nProduce technical documentation including User Guides, SOPs, CONOPS, System Design Documentation (SDD), architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.\nSupport knowledge transfer through documentation, training, and collaboration with government personnel.\nCollaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve technical challenges, and continuously improve platform performance, security, and usability.\nWhat You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):\nActive DoD Secret Clearance.\nCurrent DoD 8570/8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, GSEC, CCNA Security, or equivalent).\nExperience supporting enterprise systems within DoD or Federal environments.\nHands-on experience with the Advana platform and its integrated data and analytics capabilities.\nAdvanced experience with Databricks, including PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and enterprise data governance.\nExtensive experience developing and administering Qlik Sense solutions, including dashboard development, scripting, QMC administration, and security configuration.\nExperience integrating REST APIs and working with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) data.\nExpert SQL skills with experience designing relational databases, dimensional data models, and enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.\nStrong understanding of enterprise data governance, cybersecurity reporting, and secure data management practices.\nExperience developing technical documentation and providing operational knowledge transfer.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.\nIdeally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):\nExperience supporting Marine Corps or Department of Defense cybersecurity programs.\nFamiliarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and cybersecurity data reporting.\nExperience developing executive-level dashboards and enterprise analytics solutions.\nExperience working with Git or other version control platforms.\nExperience supporting enterprise cloud and data modernization
