The ideal candidate has experience with strong Microsoft SQL Server database administration skills.\nWhat Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):\nDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and database scripts to support enterprise applications and reporting requirements. \nMonitor and tune database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plan analysis. \nDevelop, manage, and continuously improve index management and statistics optimization. \nDevelop, design, and support Power BI datasets, ensuring efficient integration with SQL queries, views, and underlying data models. \nDevelop and optimize Power BI DAX expressions for advanced reporting and analytics. \nExperienced with design and implementation of complex data structure types and integrations across multiple organizational units \nExperience with mapping and creating entity relationship diagrams \nEnsure database performance through proactive query optimization.\nWhat You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):\nU.S. Citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance. \n6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of certifications and experience). \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or additional experience in lieu of degree). \nStrong expertise in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization. \nSolid understanding of database architecture, design principles, and normalization. \nProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex T-SQL performance problems. \nStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. \nIdeally, You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):\nExperience supporting federal, law enforcement, or scientific organizations. \nExperience migrating on-premises databases to AWS or other cloud platforms. \nExperience assessing and documenting client environments, infrastructure, and operational processes. \nBackground in data warehousing, analytics platforms, and reporting
