We are at the forefront of innovation in the industry, connecting communities and shaping the future of public transport.\nPosition: PSV/HGV Technician\nLocation: Old Fieldhouse Lane, Huddersfield, HD2 1AG\nWe are now looking for an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Technician to join the busy team at our First Bus Huddersfield Depot - PSV or HGV mechanical experience is great however we love to hear from ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other automotive sectors looking for a change.\nKey Details:\n£20.00 per hour\nMinimum 37.5 hours per week\n£ 39,000 per annum\n4 days over 7 (including 1 weekend in 3)\nRotation of early and late shifts: 5:30am-15:30pm early and 13:00pm-23:00pm late\nOvertime rate paid at time and a half\nIn this hands-on role, you'll keep vehicles running safely and reliably by diagnosing faults, completing mechanical repairs and replacing parts when needed. You'll carry out scheduled servicing, routine inspections and preventative maintenance, as well as responding to on-road breakdowns and recoveries.
