This role assists guests with merchandise selection and purchases, maintains store presentation and inventory, and supports the team in meeting sales and operational goals. The Team Lead also ensures compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.\nKey Responsibilities\n Customer Service and SalesAssist guests throughout the sales transaction, including merchandise selection, payment processing, and completion of closing paperwork.\nMeet or exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).\nMonitor sales performance and proactively use available resources to achieve sales goals.\nMaintain a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.\n\nStore Operations and MerchandisingMaintain store signage, promotional materials, and merchandise displays according to established plans.\nRotate displays regularly to reflect seasonal changes, promotions, and merchandising priorities.\nEnsure merchandise is properly stocked, faced, folded, sized, and labeled.\nKeep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.\nRecommend merchandise reorders and report inventory levels to management.\n\nInventory and Loss PreventionAssist with inventory control, stock replenishment, and loss prevention activities.\nMonitor merchandise availability and identify inventory discrepancies or replenishment needs.\nSupport inventory accuracy and follow established inventory management procedures.\n\n Team Leadership and Operational SupportSupport daily store operations and assist management in achieving sales and operational objectives.\nOperate point-of-sale (POS) systems and troubleshoot basic system issues.\nFollow company policies and procedures and report violations or operational concerns to management.\nAssist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management.\nDemonstrate initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.\n\nQualifications and Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n1-2 years of relevant retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.\nPrevious experience in merchandising or retail operations is an advantage.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nExcellent verbal communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.\nBasic computer skills and the ability to learn and operate POS systems and other computer-based applications.\nAbility to work independently, take initiative, and manage daily responsibilities effectively.\nStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining store standards.\nProfessional appearance and attitude.\nAbility to work assigned schedules and adhere to all company policies and procedures.\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to grasp, lift, carry, and move packages using a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of up to 60 lbs.\nAbility to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods.\nVisual abilities necessary for the role, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nAbility to operate a cash register, computer monitor, keyboard, and other store equipment.\nCompensation: \nThe expected compensation is an estimate, and the final offer will depend on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors.\nVacancy Status:\nThis posting is for an existing vacancy.\nPay Range\n$21—$24 USD\nWHAT WE OFFER\nCareer Growth: An opportunity to enter a job that allows you to learn new skills or use a variety of them that may lead you to uncover other career opportunities.\nLearning & Development: At SPS, we promote a work culture of learning so that you can develop to be the best at what you do.\nWe Recognize Talent: We offer a variety of recognition programs for all levels of employees.\nPaid Time Off: Full time: Minimum of 80 hours/calendar year.
