operations as needed.\nJob Overview\nThe Freight Driver / Mover provides delivery, freight, and courier support by receiving dispatch orders, retrieving parcels and mail from local offices, and transporting items safely and efficiently using company vehicles such as small box trucks, vans, or jeeps.\nThis role also supports shipping and receiving operations, locker deliveries, and dock logistics while serving as a backup resource for front and back office functions when needed.\nReports To:\nClient Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership\nWhat You’ll Do\nFreight & Transportation Operations\nTransport mail, freight, and packages between designated office locations using company vehicles\nAdminister shipping and receiving processes in accordance with operational procedures\nCollect and deliver items to designated offices, lockers, docks, and central shipping locations\nOperate internal collection and delivery routes across staffed and unstaffed facilities\nMail, Shipping & Logistics Support\nProcess incoming tracked mail using client tracking and labeling systems\nMaintain accurate chain-of-custody procedures for inbound mail, packages, and freight\nLog shipments using client-preferred shipping and tracking tools\nCollect outbound shipping items and coordinate delivery to shipping teams for processing\nProvide recipients with methods to track and manage deliveries\nWarehouse & Equipment Handling\nUtilize manual and powered material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (where applicable)\nValidate packing slips and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments\nSupport loading dock and warehouse operations as required\nCustomer Service & Operational Excellence\nDeliver exceptional customer service to employees and clients\nBuild professional relationships with customers and internal teams\nMaintain professionalism and composure when handling sensitive requests\nSupport operational needs proactively during downtime\nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record\nMust be at least 25 years old to meet fleet insurance requirements\nDriver’s license must have remained current for the last 5 years\nStrong computer proficiency including logistics tracking systems, scheduling software, Excel/Numbers, and Word/Pages\nStrong organizational, communication, and customer service skills\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities\nAbility to lift, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead as required\nPreferred\n3+ years of experience in a mail facility, freight company, warehouse, moving company, or related environment\nProfessional driving or courier service experience\nExperience with BearTracks or similar logistics tracking software\nForklift and warehouse equipment experience\nExperience in loading dock or warehouse operations\nCompetencies\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong service orientation\nAttention to detail and operational accuracy\nAbility to multitask and prioritize efficiently\nIndependent work capability and accountability\nKnowledge of shipping, receiving, and freight handling procedures\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to lift or move packages weighing 40-50 lbs. or more frequently\nAbility to move materials using wheeled carts with 60 lb capacity\nAbility to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods\nManual dexterity for operating office and warehouse equipment\nPhysical and mental ability to operate company vehicles safely\nTravel:\nLocal travel required using
