This role is crucial in event support with setups, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth execution, and maintaining high standards of hospitality to create memorable experiences.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nEvent Planning and Coordination:\nCoordinate with Facilities Management and other relevant teams to ensure all aspects of the event are executed flawlessly.\nSupport with equipment and furniture arrangements according to event specifications.\nRisk Management and Security Oversight:\nIdentify and escalate potential security risks or privacy concerns.\nParticipate in the company’s Crisis Response Team, ready to guide clients and guests in emergencies\nClient Engagement and Hospitality Management:\nProvide a warm and professional welcome to all event attendees, setting a positive tone for the event.\nOffer personalized services during events, such as catering to specific guest needs and managing special requests.\nEngage proactively with attendees, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout the event.\nOnsite Support and Logistics Management:\nMonitor event proceedings to address and resolve issues promptly.\nEnsure all event-related setups are completed on time and meet client expectations.\nHandle any last-minute adjustments to event plans, including changes in layout, timing, or services. \nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nAt least 3 years of prior experience in event support, hospitality, or a similar client-facing role.\nStrong ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage time effectively.\nTechnical/computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, digital ticketing, conference room scheduling programs, etc.\nCompetencies:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nHigh level of customer service and ability to work well under pressure.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to lift or move heavy items up to 40 lbs. as needed for event setups.\nActive role requiring significant standing, walking, and moving around during events.\nWork Schedule:\nHours vary dependent on events schedule.\nThe Overtime rate will be paid according to California state law.\nTravel: None or negligible.\nOther Duties:\nThis job description may be modified to include additional responsibilities and duties as needed to support changing business requirements.\nPhysical Demands:\nApproximately 50% of the time this position requires the below physical demands.\nFine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.\nAbility to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.\nManual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, copy machines, binding equipment, etc.).\nAbility to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.\nTravel: None or Negligible\nOther Duties:\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
