We work collaboratively with our customers, building trusted relationships that enable us to deliver exceptional, personalized experiences designed for real-world challenges in the lab.\nWant to be part of a team that’s truly making a difference?\nAbout the role:\nWorking remotely, you will be enthusiastic, committed and ready to take responsibility for coordinating and managing your own time to ensure emergency/preventive maintenance service calls are prioritized and followed through to completion. Excellent customer facing skills are required.\nWhile the primary area served by this new position will be the West Coast region, successful candidates will be expected to travel on occasion to cover for our other regions across the US. Candidates should anticipate on average, about 50% overnight travel. On occasion this role may need to provide coverage for more extended periods in other US territories. Proximity to a major airport will be considered a plus. International travel will be required for training purposes.\nThis vacancy presents an opportunity to provide on-site support for an exciting range of new products and will therefore best suit candidates seeking varied, challenging and stimulating work experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nScheduling and performing territory service work such as on-site installation and preventative maintenance.\nPerforming emergency service (territory) repair visits.\nProviding remote telephone assistance.\nBeing available to travel at short notice in order to support other Field Service Engineers when needed.\nTimely completion of all required documentation.\nCommunicating any product quality issues to the appropriate persons.\nWorking closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists.\nResponsible for account management, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction.\nObtaining and communicating leads, identifying post-instrument sales, upgrades, and consumables.\nBeneficial Skills/Experience\nPrevious Experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems, ideally within the pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors.\nPrevious experience of working with Liquid Handling products would be advantageous.\nStrong customer focus.\nExcellent communication skills and a proactive approach to workload.\nEducation equivalent of at least an associate’s degree or previous experience in an engineering discipline.\nHighly organized with excellent follow-up skills.\nSelf-motivated, team player.\nAbility to travel on short notice.\nValid Passport.\nOur commitment to you:\nYou’ll be working with talented professionals in a motivated and driven team.\nWe offer a competitive salary package with a comprehensive, valued benefits package.\nWe embrace diversity and inclusivity, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, or family status.
