Description\nNetwork Design and Planning\n· Responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating the implementation of passive fiber optic networks\n· Develop detailed plans and optimal routes for fiberoptic cable deployment including duct and manhole\n infrastructure\nSite Surveying and Feasibility\n· Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess potential network routes, identify obstacles, and \n recommend the most economical solutions\nDocumentation and Mapping\n· Create and maintain accurate, detailed documentation, schematics, and \"as-built\" drawings using\n Geographical Information Systems (GIS), AutoCAD, or similar software\nCost Estimation and Budgeting\n· Forecast Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) and Operating Expenditures (OPEX), estimate project costs, and\n manage resources to ensure projects are completed within budget\nCollaboration and Coordination\n· Liaise and collaborate with internal engineering, design, and construction teams, as well as external\n stakeholders including government agencies, private developers, and contractors, to ensure smooth project\n execution\nCompliance and Standards\n· Ensure all network plans and installations comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety\n requirements\n· Complete and submit all applications and documents as requested by building owners before approval is\n granted to start work\nCapacity Planning\n· Analyze current and future network performance data and subscriber demands to plan for network expansion\n and necessary upgrades, ensuring scalability and future-proofing of the infrastructure\nProblem Solving\n· Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during the planning and installation phases, providing technical\n guidance to resolve complex problems\nOthers\n· Provide standby support after office hours when needed\n· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time\n\nRequirements\n· Diploma in Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or a related field\n· At least 1-3 year of working experience in fiber optic network planning and design, and passive infrastructure\n operations (inside or outside plant operations)\n· Good understanding of fiber optic engineering principles, passive optical network (PON) technologies, \n FTTx methodologies, and civil engineering\n· Familiar with site acquisition and deployment of telco’s facilities, assets and resources\n· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities to design efficient and reliable network layouts\n· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective project and stakeholder management \n and teamwork\n· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with contractors, colleagues and building management team \n /developers\n· Independent, self-driven, highly customer focused and able to work under high-pressure\n environment especially during emergency restoration of telecommunications services\n· Good
