Familiarity with PADS is considered a plus.\nAbility to convert given requirements into working design in co-operation with other disciplines.\nGood understanding of mixed-signal, power and RF electronics, LED drivers and topologies and SMPS designs.\nBasic understanding and knowledge ofwireless communication interfaces and modules (BLE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, LoRAWAN).\nserial communication buses and protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).\nmodules for satellite navigation systems (GNSS) and satellite communications (GlobalStar, Iridium).\n\nFamiliarity with safety, EMC, environmental and other field related requirements, standards and directives.\nAbility to work with laboratory equipment needed for testing.\nFamiliarity of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) is considered a plus.\nFluent written and spoken skills in English.\nDuties:\n1. Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.\n2. Advise the Systems Engineer and Engineering Manager of design or other issues affecting the development of appropriate software.\n3. Researching, designing, documenting, and testing new hardware designs.\n4. Developing existing designs by analysis and identifying areas for modification.\n5. Investigating new technologies.\n6. Creating technical specifications and test plans.\n7. Working closely with other staff contributing to company objectives. Key contacts include systems engineers, test engineers, project managers and fw/sw engineers.\n8. Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications.\n9. Participation in department improvement activities such as reviewing and updating engineering processes.\n10.
