In creating products like RF inhibitors and specialized equipment for military and security purposes, we protect ground forces and infrastructure around the world.\nHow you will make an Impact (Job Summary)\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager with a strong technical background to oversee and deliver large-scale projects within our Data Links vertical. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work cross functionally to complete projects; the ability to deal with complex situations/projects in international settings; and strong communications and organizational skills to successfully manage product deliveries, systems integration, field installations, customer training and technical support activities.\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\nManage full lifecycle of one major project and other smaller projects, from planning through to handover.\nMaintain schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budget tracking, monthly and quarterly status reports and conducts project meetings, customer reviews, and management reviews.\nLead risk management and mitigation strategies across geographies, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.\nManages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Monitors staff progress, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.\nManage all on-site activities, including: site preparation; arrangements for and inspection of incoming shipments; installation and commissioning of hardware and software; performance of Factory and Site Acceptance Tests.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial functions.\nServe as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders during execution (manufacturing, installation and post-sale support periods).\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies\nSupport sales and marketing activities in project and program management roles in preparation of proposals.\nSupport contract negotiation, amendments, and project close-out activities.\nWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience\nA minimum of 6 years technical experience.\nA minimum of 6 years’ project management experience with a proven record of managing large and complex projects.\nFamiliarity with RF technologies, ISR systems, or tactical communications is highly desirable.\nPrior experience working internationally or with global teams, especially across UK and Southeast Asia (preferred).\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.\nStrong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities across cultures and time zones.\nAbility to navigate complex stakeholder environments.\nDrive for excellence and continuous improvement.\nExcellent organizational and multitasking capability.\nAnalytical thinker and problem-solver.\nCommercial acumen and budget management.\nAble to manage remote teams and virtual collaboration.\nCulturally aware and adaptable.\nInternational travel experience\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Project\nThe ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical / electronic schematics.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills in English are required.\nEducation & Certifications\nQualified applicants should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a technical field\nRelevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).\nTravel & Working Environment\nHybrid working between office and home\nMust be willing to travel internationally from 35%-50% of the time.\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
