We are opening a new campus facility that will have two of our businesses (Marley and Ingenia Technologies) evolving and growing together at SPX's very first campus.\nAs an Electrician II, you will play a crucial role in the assembly of complex electrical systems on manufactured products while also maintaining the electrical infrastructure of the manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this job also can be assigned special projects to support factory safety, sustainability, growth, and development.\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\nPerform Installation of electrical equipment within assembled product;\nInstall electrical conduits within assembled product:\nPipe bending\nEIMT conduit/rigid \nPerform Installation of lighting fixtures within assembled product;\nPerform installation of high/low voltage electrical and control assemblies on manufactured products\nPerform troubleshooting and function testing of electrical systems on assembled products\nPerform planned, predictive, and unplanned electrical maintenance on production machinery and facility infrastructure \nPerform new electrical installations of production equipment and facility infrastructure\nPerform work associated with changes in manufacturing processes to support safety and efficiency. \nAssist the Maintenance Manager with updating and maintaining maintenance management of software records. \nAssist operations in the development of new manufacturing cells which could require performing some select production work. \nWhat we are looking for (Required/Ideal Experience, Skills, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience & Skills\nAssociate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a valid state/local electrician license \n5+ years of experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in an industrial or construction environment\nNFPA 70E Arc Flash and OSHA 10/30 certifications\nStrong understanding of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and electrical testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes). \nFamiliarity with interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics \nPreferred experience troubleshooting and/or programming PLC systems \nResponsible, self-motivated, and a good team player \nKnowledge and practical experience with standard computer applications \nAdhering to OSHA regulations and using safety equipment. \nTravel & Working Environment\nManufacturing plant environment \nExternal training at existing SPX locations including Olathe, KS and Montreal, Quebec \nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
