Serving the telecommunications, broadcast, wind energy, airport, and utilities markets, we help monitor critical infrastructure and help people traverse the world safely by air.\nHow you will make an Impact (Job Summary)\nResponsible for coordination of all outgoing shipments, creating appropriate shipping documentation, maintaining associated records, and coordinating with customer service/sales teams.\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\nFollow safe work practices and procedures, and ensure a “safety first” culture in every task undertaken.\nEnsure daily goals are met\nObtain shipping quotes\nCoordinate all outgoing shipments\nCoordinate international shipments\nPackage outgoing shipments\nInvoice customers\nAssist with unloading of delivery trucks as needed\nResponsible for inventory of shipping materials\nMaintain clean, tidy and safe work place.\nAbide by company and EHS regulations/policies.\nAdvise manager on implementing changes.\nAdvises manager of risks or potential hazards as required.\nImplement continuous improvement processes.\nEnsure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.\nCo-operate with other staff, supervisors and managers.\nPerform any other duties as reasonably directed.\nWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience\nMinimum of 2 or more years’ experience in warehouse setting\nPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nInternational Shipping Experience including knowledge of Incoterms\nForklift experience\nComputer skills including Microsoft Office\nMechanical aptitude with attention to detail\nEducation & Certifications\nHigh School diploma\nTravel & Working Environment\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to lift 50lbs\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
