With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.\nHow you will make an Impact (Job Summary)\nSPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As the Stores Coordinator at our Doncaster facility, you will be responsible for coordinating stores and materials, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, transferred and dispatched accurately and safely. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will manage day-to-day logistics and stores activities, stock integrity, SAP transactions, documentation and housekeeping while supporting site safety activities and maintaining a high standard of 5S.\nWhat you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)\nWhile each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:\n1. Coordinate goods receipt, storage and dispatch\nOversee the receipt and storage of all materials, ensuring required checks and documentation are completed accurately.\nReceive and book in goods, confirming they arrive in sound condition and in the correct quantities.\nLocate goods accurately in accordance with specified default locations.\nPick products in accordance with customer orders and kits, and handle goods in line with supply schedules.\nComplete routine goods receipt and dispatch paperwork and ensure inventory control systems remain up to date.\nUnload full 20 ft and 40 ft containers safely and in accordance with Health & Safety requirements.\n2. Maintain stock integrity and SAP records\nManage stock integrity, investigating and reconciling discrepancies as they arise.\nManage stock rotation as defined.\nEnsure relevant information is updated and recorded accurately in SAP.\nEnsure physical parts movements and transfers are matched in SAP.\nWork with the Supply Chain Manager to manage the annual stock check, act as the operations point of contact for third-party auditing teams, and provide stock reports or other information required by Finance.\nManage the priority of projects within stores as defined by the Supply Chain Manager.\n3. Maintain a safe, organised facility\nMaintain stores and yard areas to a high standard of 5S and housekeeping, including hazard-spotting activities.\nCarry out routine workplace safety checks, identifying and reporting hazards, unsafe conditions and areas for improvement.\nAssist with facility risk assessments, safety inspections, audits and completion of associated corrective actions.\nSupport the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses alongside the wider Health & Safety team.\nHelp coordinate site safety activities, including fire safety checks, emergency arrangements, equipment inspections and contractor compliance where required.\nPromote a positive safety culture and ensure safe working practices are maintained throughout the facility.\n4. Support wider operational requirements\nWork effectively with colleagues and support the wider team as required.\nCarry out other additional or alternative tasks that may from time to time be reasonably required.\nWhat we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)\nWe each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:\nRequired Experience\nExperience of working in a logistics environment.\nPrevious experience in stock management.\nGood written communication skills and computer literacy.\nAbility to work well with others.\nAbility to cope with the physical demands of a warehouse role.\nA self-motivated approach and positive attitude.\nPreferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nExperience of SAP is advantageous.\nEducation & Certifications\nNVQ Level 2, or equivalent.\nFLT driving licence.\nDriving licence.\nTravel & Working Environment\nSite-based role at the Doncaster facility.\nWarehouse environment with physical demands, including the safe unloading of full 20 ft and 40 ft containers.\nHow we live our culture\nOur culture is at the center of what we do and, more importantly, who we are.
