This role requires someone who can design enterprise-wide data and AI architectures, communicate a compelling vision, and lead customers from initial concept through implementation.\nSuccess in this role is as much about influence, communication, and relationship-building as it is about technical expertise.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design\nDefine end-to-end enterprise data and AI architectures across: Data platforms (Fabric, Databricks)\n Data architecture (domains, medallion, real-time/streaming)\n AI enablement and consumption layers\n Security, compliance, and governance models\n\nTranslate business goals into scalable, future-state architectures\nEnsure alignment across infrastructure, data, AI, and governance\n2. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement\nLead discovery sessions, strategy workshops, and innovation hubs\nBuild and present vision-driven architectures that customers buy into\nDevelop high-level solution proposals, estimates, and roadmaps\nAct as a trusted advisor to client executives and stakeholders\n3. Transition to Delivery & Ongoing Ownership\nTransition from pre-sales into delivery oversight\nEnsure architectural vision is executed correctly across engagements\nServe as a technical program lead across multiple accounts\nDrive follow-on opportunities and long-term client growth\n4. Cross-Domain Technical Leadership\nUnderstand and integrate across: Cloud infrastructure & networking (private endpoints, security models)\n Data architecture & engineering patterns\n AI/ML applications and use cases\n Data governance frameworks & tooling\n\nProvide guidance to solution architects and engineers\nBridge the gap between deep technical specialists and business stakeholders\n5. Customer-Facing Leadership\nLead on-site engagements, executive briefings, and workshops\nRepresent the company in strategic client interactions\nBuild trust through clear communication and strong executive presence\nDrive customer adoption and satisfaction\nRequirements\nRequired Qualifications Core Experience\n8-12+ years in: Enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or equivalent\n Data platforms and cloud (Azure preferred)\n\nProven experience in both pre-sales and delivery leadership roles\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong experience in at least one major data platform: Microsoft Fabric or Databricks (deep expertise in one required)\n\nWorking knowledge across: Data engineering and analytics architectures\n AI/ML concepts and applications\n Cloud infrastructure and security\n Data governance and compliance\n\nBroad understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem preferred\nSoft Skills (Critical for Success)\nExceptional communication and storytelling ability\nAbility to sell a vision and gain stakeholder buy-in\nStrong executive presence and relationship-building skills\nHighly adaptable-able to learn new technologies quickly\nComfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate is:\nBroad, not narrow -
