Over the last few years, the platform has undergone significant modernization, including new CI/CD processes, automated testing, coding standards, API development based on OpenAPI, frontend/backend separation, and production monitoring.\nYou will join a team focused on developing new functionalities while gradually improving and refactoring the existing platform.\nYOUR TASKS\nDeveloping and maintaining backend functionalities using PHP 8.2+\n\nImplementing new features within the core eCommerce platform and administration panel\n\nRefactoring and modernizing existing legacy PHP code\n\nWriting clean, modular, maintainable and testable code\n\nCreating and maintaining unit and functional tests\n\nWorking with MySQL, including writing and optimizing SQL queries without relying on an ORM\n\nDeveloping and integrating REST APIs based on OpenAPI standards\n\nWorking with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks\n\nDebugging and troubleshooting production issues using monitoring and logging tools\n\nOccasionally working with existing React components when implementing simple UI changes\n\nCollaborating closely with Tech Leads, Product Managers, QA Engineers and other developers\n\nParticipating in requirements analysis and translating business needs into technical solutions\n\nYOUR PROFILE\nAt least 3 years of commercial software development experience\n\nVery good knowledge of PHP, preferably PHP 8.x\n\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming\n\nGood knowledge of MySQL and confidence in writing SQL queries without ORM support\n\nPractical experience with PHPUnit and automated testing\n\nExperience with REST APIs and API integrations\n\nKnowledge of Git\n\nExperience working with existing and/or legacy codebases and their refactoring\n\nUnderstanding of clean code principles and software development best practices\n\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to understand and clarify business and technical requirements\n\nEnglish sufficient for working with technical documentation\n\nWillingness to work in a hybrid model in Szczecin: 3 days per week from the office and 2 days remotely\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience with eCommerce platforms\n\nCommercial experience with Symfony or Laravel\n\nExperience with RabbitMQ or other asynchronous messaging solutions\n\nKnowledge of Docker and containerized environments\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines\n\nFamiliarity with OpenAPI / Swagger\n\nExperience with monitoring and logging solutions such as the ELK Stack\n\nBasic knowledge of
