The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical inspection experience and the ability to support production quality activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis is a full-time, on-site contract role with immediate need and potential for extension.\nLocation: Lexington, VA\n Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hours/week)\n Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)\n Duration: 3 months (potential extension)\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform in-process and final inspections on chillers, air handling units, and electromechanical assemblies\nConduct visual and dimensional inspections per drawings and specifications\nInspect structural fabrication, rivets, and mechanical assemblies\nSupport Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and witness inspections\nVerify supplier execution to inspection plans and quality requirements\nReview and compile inspection documentation and sign-off packages\nIdentify and document nonconformances and support corrective action closure\nProvide weekly updates on production and quality performance\nUtilize Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google Drive for reporting and communication\nRead and interpret basic wiring diagrams and engineering drawings\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience performing electromechanical inspections in manufacturing environments\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic wiring diagrams\nExperience with visual, dimensional, and witness inspections\nComfortable using Google Sheets, Gmail, and Google Drive\nAbility to work independently on-site in a production environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with HVAC systems, chillers, or air handling units\nExperience supporting data center or industrial equipment projects\nFamiliarity with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)\nExperience supporting supplier quality or third-party
