We deploy experienced quality professionals throughout the United States and in 90+ countries.\nOverview\nHIRING IMMEDIATELY!\nSQA Services is seeking an Electrical Quality Inspector to perform receiving inspections of printed circuit boards (PCB), printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), and other electronic components and assemblies at an aerospace and defense facility in El Segundo, CA.\nThe ideal candidate has hands-on experience inspecting electronic hardware, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, applying IPC workmanship standards, and documenting inspection results. Candidates with quality inspection experience across different commodities are welcome.\nLocation: El Segundo, CA - 100% onsite\nShift: 1st shift\nDuration: 6-month contract\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform receiving inspections of PCBs, PCBAs, and electronic components and assemblies.\nInspect electronic hardware for workmanship, quality, and compliance with engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and applicable IPC standards.\n\nUse inspection equipment such as microscopes, UV light sources, multimeters, precision scales, and dimensional measuring tools as required.\n\nReview Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), test records, material certifications, and First Article Inspection Reports.\n\nDocument inspection results, identify nonconformances, and coordinate resolution with Quality and Engineering teams.\n\nSupport Material Review Board (MRB) activities and nonconformance reporting (NCR).\n\nProcess inspection results and material transactions in ERP systems.\n\nVerify that inspection and test equipment is properly calibrated.\n\nCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production to resolve issues and improve inspection processes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n\n3+ years of Quality Assurance and inspection experience.\n\n3+ years of experience working with ESD controls and IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards.\n\n3+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications.\n\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.\n\nAbility to frequently lift 20 lbs. or more and stand, move, bend, and reach for extended periods.\n\nAbility to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience inspecting PCBs, PCBAs, or other electronic assemblies.\n\nExperience using electronic and dimensional inspection equipment.\n\nExperience with MRB reviews and nonconformance reporting.\n\nFamiliarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems.\n\nActive IPC certification, such as IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, or IPC-600.\n\nAerospace or defense manufacturing
