We’re hiring for a Quality Inspector Level 2 position in Hawthrone, CA. This is an opportunity in which you will be supporting the first & second shift on a 2 month contract at full time hours. Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections-visual skills (identifying FOD, damage, burrs, and similar defects)
- Proficiency with standard precision measurement tools: Borescope, calipers, pin gages, micrometers, digital thickness gages, comparators, eye loupes, and feeler picks/gauge.
- Basic drawing/blueprint interpretation skills (material specs, parts lists, dimensions, notes)
- Standard GD&T knowledge (Mechanical II level)
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing, system navigation, and file/image uploads
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sustain 100% inspection accuracy across high daily throughput
- Ability to learn and apply XRF material identification techniques (training provided)
- Ability to learn and navigate the WARP ERP system (training provided)
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on quality inspection experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and industry/commodity standards.
- Hands on experience with borescopes.
- Proficient in GD&T and validating dimensions preferred
- Ability to adapt to new technology and software.
- Excellent visual acuity to detect defects in complex products.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
- Must be ITAR compliant.
