The position will primarily support Accounts Receivable and related credit and collection activities, while also providing support across other areas of the accounting function.\nThe Staff Accountant will work closely with client representatives and internal teams to research and resolve account-related matters, communicate information, and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting activities. The Staff Accountant is also expected to identify opportunities to improve existing processes, increase efficiency, and promote accuracy within the Accounting function.\nThis is a full-time position. Apply today to be considered!\nSchedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am- 5:00 pm\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccounts Receivable and Credit & Collections: Manage and support billing, credit and collection activities, bank deposits, cash receipts, customer account maintenance, and accounts receivable records.\nClient & Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with client representatives and internal teams to research and resolve billing, payment, account, and other accounting-related matters.\nAccounts Payable: Process payments and maintain accurate disbursement and accounts payable records.\nPayroll Processing: Assist with payroll processing, including verification of employee time and expense reports.\nPayroll-Related Human Resources: Assist with benefits administration, unemployment and workers' compensation claims, and monitoring employee vacation and sick leave balances.\nFixed Assets: Maintain and monitor fixed asset records and related depreciation schedules.\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare and maintain financial reports and supporting schedules related to assigned accounting functions.\nMonth-End and Year-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of supporting documentation.\nGeneral Accounting: Perform account reconciliations, research discrepancies, and assist with other general accounting activities as assigned.\nProcess Improvement: Identify opportunities to continuously improve existing accounting processes, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.\nCommunication & Issue Resolution: Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, investigate discrepancies, communicate findings, and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to resolve issues.\n· Other Duties: Perform other accounting and administrative duties and special projects as assigned.\nSkills and Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nMinimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in Accounts Receivable.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes.\nStrong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to multitask and work in an organized, accurate, and detail-oriented manner.\nProcess-oriented with strong time-management skills.\nAbility to meet deadlines and effectively manage competing priorities.\nExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.\nHands-on experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and other commonly used Excel functions.\nAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with members of the Accounting team and other internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with client representatives and internal teams.\nAbility to identify problems, exercise sound judgment, and recommend practical solutions.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and employee information
