Digitally.\nSQLI is a European player and market leader in customer experience and digital transformation, helping major international brands create value through technology and digital innovation.\nFrom strategy to the effective implementation of technological solutions, we design and build robust, high-performance architectures and engaging digital experiences, combining advanced technologies, proven methodologies and deep expertise.\nTo strengthen our teams (2,200 employees across 12 countries), we are looking for driven talent who share our values: Creativity, Engagement, and a Future-minded approach.\n As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a General Accountant based in Belgium who can take ownership of a complete accounting scope and act as a true business partner for both internal teams and external stakeholders.\nThis position offers a high level of autonomy within an international environment where accuracy, analytical thinking and service quality are key to success.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage the full general accounting cycle for multiple entities through to closing.\nParticipate in and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.\nPerform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.\nPrepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with ongoing tax obligations.\nAssist in the preparation of annual accounts and financial statements.\nManage intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation.\nCollaborate closely with AP, AR, Treasury, and Controlling teams.\nSupport internal and external audit processes and serve as one of the key contacts for auditors.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Finance department.\nContribute to the preparation of financial reports for management and the Group.\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures \n We are above all looking for an autonomous, detail-oriented and solution-driven professional capable of managing a complete accounting scope while thriving in an international environment.\nSkills & Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nIdeally 4 to 8 years of experience in general accounting.\nProven experience with monthly and annual closings.\nStrong knowledge of VAT and day-to-day accounting requirements.\nExperience preparing annual accounts and supporting audit processes.\nKnowledge of intercompany accounting is a strong asset.\nStrong financial analysis and account reconciliation skills.\nExperience working with one or more ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Exact, Dynamics, or equivalent).\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nKnowledge of IFRS is considered an asset.\nPrevious experience in an international environment is highly appreciated.\nLanguages\nFluent in French, Dutch and English (written and spoken).\n What We Offer\nJoin a human-sized local organization (150 employees) while benefiting from the opportunities and exposure of a global and multicultural environment.
