Digitally.\n In this role, you will contribute to developing and optimizing the backbend\nsolutions supporting our luxury Maisons across e-commerce and omni-channel retail platforms.\nYou will design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices, ensuring seamless integration with\nsystems involved in order management, fulfilment, and retail operations. Working closely with Software\nEngineers, Architects, DevOps, and Product Analysts, you will deliver high-quality solutions aligned with\nbusiness needs and technology standards.\nOperating in an Agile and international environment, you will contribute to all phases of the development\nlifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and support, while helping ensure the reliability and\nperformance of the digital platforms.\n KEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalyse business and technical requirements to design and develop robust backend solutions supporting\nomni-channel retail and order management processes.\nDevelop, test, debug, and deploy Java-based microservices, ensuring scalability, reliability, and\nperformance.\nDesign and implement integrations with Order Management Systems and retail platforms, supporting\nkey flows such as order orchestration, inventory visibility, fulfilment, returns, and payment flows.\nMaintain and improve existing services, ensuring high code quality, maintainability, and reliability.\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks.\nCollaborate with the Support team to investigate and resolve production incidents related to omni-retail\nand order management services.\nWork with the DevOps team to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment\nprocesses.\nReview functional specifications and translate them into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.\nCollaborate with QA Engineers to support testing strategies and contribute to automated testing.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of the Product/Solution by recommending technical\nenhancements and optimizations.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives).\n Technical Skills\n5+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer, with strong expertise in Java 21 and the Spring\necosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Cloud).\nProven experience developing microservices-based solutions using event-driven architectures and APIfirst principles.\nExperience working with Order Management Systems (OMS), Fluent Commerce, supporting order\norchestration and omni-retail processes.\nStrong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and working with\nJSON, XML, HTTP, and GraphQL.\nExperience building omni-retail and e-commerce solutions, including order lifecycle, inventory\nvisibility, fulfilment, returns, payment flows.\nProficiency with databases such as MySQL, and MongoDB.\nHands-on experience with containerized and cloud-native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes,\nand CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).\nExperience working with event messaging systems and integration patterns (e.g., AWS SQS, Solace,\nPub/Sub architectures).\nFamiliarity with security best practices including OAuth2, OIDC, and IAM solutions such as Keycloak\nand Okta\nExperience with modern development and testing tooling, including IntelliJ, SonarQube, Datadog,\nInsomnia, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).\n DevOps & Tooling\nBuild & IDE: IntelliJ, Maven\nVersion Control: Git, GitLab\nCode Quality & Security: SonarQube, Snyk\nAPI Testing & Integration Tools: Insomnia, RobotFramework\nCollaboration & Documentation: Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)\nCloud technologies/platform: AWS, K8s, Docker, Helm\n Soft Skills\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams.\nProactive, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies.\nAbility to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.\nEducation & Language\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nFluency in English (French or other languages is a plus)\nStrong expertise in Omni Retail. Demonstrated experience in the following key areas:\n\nExperience in connecting online sales platforms with physical retail operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, click-and-collect, and in-store returns for online purchases.\nInventory Management & Fulfillment Optimization: Understanding and experience in optimizing inventory visibility and fulfillment processes across warehouses, stores, and online channels to meet customer expectations (e.g., ship-from-store, endless aisle).\nIntegration with OMS Fluent is a plus.\n E-commerce & Omnichannel Integration: Manage the integration of online sales platforms with physical retail operations for unified inventory, efficient order fulfillment (e.g., click-and-collect, ship-from-store), and seamless online purchase returns. Seamless customer experience across all touchpoints (online, in-store, mobile).
