Digitally.\nAt SQLI Belgium, we’re looking for a Project Manager who understands how technical projects work, enjoys working with people and knows how to keep delivery moving.\nYou’ll manage projects in cloud migration, monitoring and observability. Working closely with our consultants and clients, you’ll make sure expectations are clear, decisions are followed up and teams have what they need to deliver.\nYour local team is mainly based in Diepenbeek. We work in a hybrid setup, combining home working with around two days a week in the office, depending on project and client needs.\nThis position is only open to candidates who will be employed directly by us. We do not work with contractors or agencies for this role.\n Your responsibilities will include:\nManaging projects for clients in Belgium, building close working relationships from the start.\nCoordinating international projects with clients and colleagues across Europe.\nOverseeing cloud migration and monitoring initiatives, including projects involving Datadog.\nDefining scope, planning activities and following up on progress, dependencies and risks.\nWorking with technical specialists to translate client requirements into a realistic delivery plan.\nKeeping stakeholders informed and addressing issues that could affect delivery.\n Experience managing IT projects and working directly with technical teams and clients.\nA good understanding of cloud environments and what is involved in a cloud migration.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability: you understand how metrics, logs, traces and alerts help teams monitor the health and performance of their systems.\nExperience with Datadog is a strong plus. Knowledge of a comparable monitoring platform is also relevant.\nA practical approach to project management, adapting your way of working to the project and the team.\nClear communication, good organisational skills and the confidence to follow up on decisions and commitments.\nFluency in Dutch and a good command of English are essential. French is a strong plus.\n You’ll work on projects for Belgian clients, with regular contact and the opportunity to follow delivery from the first discussions through to implementation.\nYou’ll also be involved in international projects, working with colleagues across Europe and occasionally travelling to meet clients and project teams.\nYou’ll join a team where colleagues know each other, make time to help and enjoy spending time together.
