This role combines deep SAP Commerce expertise with platform engineering, DevSecOps, cloud technologies, and modern integration practices to ensure a secure, scalable, reliable, and future-ready eCommerce platform.\nThe ideal candidate will have a strong engineering mindset, extensive hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud, and a passion for automation, platform stability, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.\nOwn the SAP Commerce Cloud platform lifecycle, including patching, upgrades, security notes implementation, dependency management, and authorization concepts.\nDrive platform-wide initiatives related to performance, scalability, resilience, caching strategies, clustering, and session management.\nDesign, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployments and efficient release management.\nIntegrate and manage security tooling, including vulnerability scanning and compliance solutions such as JFrog Xray.\nSupport production rollouts, platform operations, incident resolution, and continuous service improvements.\nModernize backend integrations, including legacy RFC-based connections and APIs.\nEnable AI-related capabilities and integrations across the SAP Commerce ecosystem.\nBuild reusable platform components, templates, and accelerators leveraging SAP Commerce Cloud, Cloud Foundry, and Azure Container Apps.\nContribute to backend architecture standards, engineering best practices, technical guardrails, and reference architectures.\nCollaborate closely with developers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure platform excellence.\n SAP Commerce & Backend Engineering\nSAP Commerce & Backend Engineering\nStrong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).\nSolid Java development background, including Spring Framework / Spring Boot.\nExperience designing and supporting enterprise-scale eCommerce platforms.\nStrong understanding of backend architecture principles and distributed systems.\nPlatform Engineering & DevOps\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of modern DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.\nExperience with deployment automation and release management.\nFamiliarity with Cloud Foundry and cloud-native architectures.\nSecurity & Reliability\nExperience implementing security controls, security patches, and vulnerability management processes.\nKnowledge of authentication, authorization, and access management concepts.\nExperience with security scanning tools such as JFrog Xray or similar.\nPerformance & Scalability\nStrong understanding of:Caching strategies\nSession handling\nClustering\nHigh availability\nScalability patterns\nApplication performance optimization\n\nIntegrations & Cloud Technologies\nExperience integrating enterprise applications and services.\nKnowledge of API-based integrations and legacy connectivity patterns.\nExposure to Azure services, especially Azure Container Apps, is highly desirable.\nFamiliarity with AI-enabled architectures and integration approaches is a plus.\n What do we offer?.\nPermanent contract.\nHybrid policy work.
