The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of the company’s bank accounts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded as well as support in month close activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within tight deadlines.\nBank Reconciliation\nPerform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.\nCompare and reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records.\nIdentify and investigate discrepancies between bank statements and general ledger accounts.\nEnsure all deposits, withdrawals, and inter-account transfers are accounted for and accurately recorded.\nCollaborate with other departments (such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, HR and Tax) to resolve outstanding items.\nPrepare list of open bank reconciliation items on weekly and monthly and escalate any unresolved discrepancies or issues to manager.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation.\nAssist in the month-end closing process by providing reconciliation data and reports.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.\nSuggest improvements to current reconciliation processes to increase efficiency.\nMonth-End Close Activities\nReview all monthly accounting activities including month-end closing, A/R, A/P, account reconciliations, allocations schedules and intercompany transactions along with the analysis of expenses MOM and year-end analysis.\nOn a monthly basis, calculate revenue allocations and reductions in accordance with the most recent Fund’s agreements, quarterly true ups and facilitate settlements of the outstanding balances between the Funds and A/R department.\nOn a monthly basis, Prepare, maintain, and update the balance sheet & other relevant schedules as needed for the reporting.\nParticipate in various ad-hoc requests from senior management and other departments\nGlobal Audit support.\nRequired Qualifications:\nProven experience of 6-8 years in bank reconciliation, month-end close and financial recordkeeping.\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (working experience in Workday is an added advantage).\nFamiliarity with financial regulations and accounting principles.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication skills.\nHigh level of attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong organizational, time-management skills and ability to multi-task.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nKnowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.\nPrior experience in a finance role within a
