If you are looking to begin your career in Risk Management, we encourage you to apply.\nPosition Overview\nIdentify and evaluate risk associated with discretionary trading strategies\nCollaborate with Quantitative Researcher and Traders on the strategies analysis\nEnsure the strategies are run within the risk allocation defined by the Investment Committee\nAnalyze risk at the portfolio level and performance drivers\nHelp with trade portfolio construction across the discretionary business\nDrive the build out of Squarepoint risk framework by improving the firm's processes and infrastructure for management of the discretionary business\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in a quantitative or related field (includes degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science and Physics); advanced degree preferred\nFrom graduate level up to 3 years of commercial experience\nDemonstrated interest in Risk Management\nDemonstrated interest in a quantitative approach\nCapacity to collaborate with the trading, analysts and quants team\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teammates globally\nStrong sense of urgency with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment\nThe minimum base salary for this role is $125,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation.
