This team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish and enforce design standards, implementation strategies, techniques, runbooks, and procedural documents that govern the delivery of infrastructure projects globally, ensuring both consistency and quality. \nThis role is essential to new construction, expansion, relocation and capital improvement projects requiring strong project management, IT network and server infrastructure knowledge, and a comprehension of mechanical and electrical engineering. Qualified candidates will be process-driven, critical thinkers and have the aptitude to work on large projects with many dependencies. \nPosition Overview:\nCollaborate with infrastructure stakeholders to develop, implement, and continuously improve standards and run books that are used in the design and commissioning of data centers, offices, and colocation facilities \nLead/direct vendors via Scope of Work and Requests for Proposals/information documents\nManage the fit out/build out of construction projects to ensure they are aligned with stakeholder requirements \nProvide capacity, inventory, and alert management; analyze data, and make recommendations for improvement \nAnticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, minimize unplanned downtime and identify opportunities for improvement \nInitiate and carry out projects that add capability, improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs \nManage IMACs in the data centers and colocation sites, and participate in scheduled power downs for all facilities \nRequired Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Technology Engineering \nUnderstanding of basic power calculations on single and 3-phase circuits, electrical diagrams, control diagrams \nExcellent communication skills \nSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills\nAbility to travel globally \nNice to have :\nKnowledge of a scripting language (i.e. python)\nElectrical and mechanical engineering of systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS switches, PDU units, HVAC systems \nRecord of accomplishment in problem solving, and project management \nInternship experience in facility management, data center operations, or power generation/distribution \n\nThe minimum base salary for this role is $100,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. This role may also be eligible for benefits, such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions.
