Responsibilities include negotiating and administering a variety of contracts, supporting price and cost proposals, maintaining contract files, overseeing contract close-outs, and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), supplemental regulations, and SRC policies.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal partners\nReview RFPs and contract requirements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and SRC policies\nSupport development of cost and pricing strategies and compliant proposal responses\nAssess contract and proposal documents to identify risks and opportunities\nManage day-to-day administration of assigned contracts and participate in program reviews\nProvide contract guidance to program teams and monitor compliance throughout the contract lifecycle\nRespond to customer inquiries and clearly communicate contract terms to internal teams\nMaintain accurate contract and proposal files and update contract management systems\nContribute to special projects and contract initiatives as needed\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in business or a related field\nAt least one year of contract experience, ideally in a government contracting environment\nWorking knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Truthful Cost or Pricing, CAS, commercial contracting, and technical data rights\nUnderstanding of financial principles related to government contracting\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nProficiency with the MS Office suite\nWillingness to travel up to 10%\nWays To Stand Out\nExperience independently negotiating terms and conditions or leading contractual discussions with customers\nBackground supporting multiple contract types (FFP and Cost-Type) and understanding their unique requirements\nDirect experience administering service, R&D, and low- to moderate-rate production contracts\nActive Secret clearance\nWhat Sets Us Apart?\nSRC, Inc., a not-for-profit research and development company, combines information, science, technology and ingenuity to solve “impossible” problems in the areas of defense, environment and intelligence. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $65,000 to $72,500 annually.
