You will work closely with site personnel, management, and other key stakeholders ensuring the safe delivery of the contract. The role is responsible for all safety considerations onsite, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress, and liaising with various professionals.\nWe are looking for someone confident and passionate about strengthening our current systems and driving a strong safety culture.\nFIFO opportunity to work on a 2:1 roster.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure compliance with safety requirements and procedures.\nConduct routine inspections, monitoring, and analysis of work areas with operations teams.\nIdentify and resolve site safety issues, recommending solutions to key personnel.\nProvide post-incident advice, lead investigations, and manage end-to-end reporting.\nStay current with industry regulations, standards, and policies.\nCollaborate with management on project risk assessments.\nManage and support event reporting via the Bugarrba system.\nDevelop, deliver, and improve HSE training and inductions for employees.\nReport weekly (or as required) to the HSE Operations Manager.\nAttend and contribute to scheduled safety meetings.\nSupport Injury Management and RTW with the Group Case Manager.\nFacilitate internal training programs as required.\nThe successful applicant will ideally have:\nPrevious experience in a similar role (civil, mobile plant, infrastructure)\nCertificate IV in WHS (Mandatory)\nCertificate IV in Training & Assessment (Desirable)\nCurrent C Class Driver’s License (Mandatory)\nIncident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) Training (Desirable)\nGood working knowledge of WHS Legislation\nStrong computer software skills including MS Office, Outlook and MyOSH\nDemonstrated experience in effective HSQE management\nExcellent communication and organisational skills.\nHigh attention to detail and data processing accuracy\nProven Experience in leading Investigation Training\nAbility to pass pre-employment medical, inclusive of D&A screen\nAbout Us:\nBugarrba is a majority Aboriginal-owned contracting business established by Walganbung and SRG Global.
