This is an opportunity to join an established delivery team, play a key role in successfully completing the works and support our upcoming projects across Western Australia.\nIf you have a strong background in delivering large-scale concrete structures and civil infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you.\n2:1 FIFO roster from Perth\nThe key objective of this role is to oversee various aspects of project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality and project standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and coordinate Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications. Prepare project-specific documentation such as method statements, MDRs, plans, and other necessary documents.\nOffer technical advice and support to the project delivery team to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives.\nActively inspect project activities to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and QSE standards/best practices.\nAssist the Project Manager in overseeing construction, operations, or maintenance activities at the project site.\nGuide and actively participate in surveying tasks to establish reference points, grades, or elevations for construction purposes.\nCollaborate with the Project Manager to assess the quantities and costs of materials, equipment, and labor, thereby determining the project's ongoing feasibility.\nIdentify and resolve issues by following the appropriate processes, such as Technical Queries (TQs) or Requests for Information (RFIs).\nRegularly perform quality audits and work on improving any identified shortcomings.\nSupervise designated construction, operations, or maintenance activities as assigned by the Project Manager.\nMaintain project controls, such as registers, as directed by the Project Manager.\nDirect or participate in surveying activities to ensure accurate construction.\nMonitor procurement activities to ensure they meet both commercial and quality objectives.\nUndertake project administration tasks as reasonably required, including the preparation and review of timesheets, project reports, etc.\nThe successful applicant will ideally have:\nDegree in Civil Engineering\n2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the contractor engineering space\nPrevious experience in concrete structures projects desirable\nStrong communication and people skills\nStrong computer and systems skills and knowledge\nAbility to adapt and be reacting to change, and to plan accordingly\nPass a pre-employment medical and D&A\nAbout Us:\nSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
