We are looking for an experienced engineer who understands the complexities of working within operational treatment facilities and can apply that expertise to infrastructure upgrades, remediation and asset protection projects that will strengthen the region's drinking water network and support future growth.\nKey responsabilities:\nSupport the Project Manager in the planning, execution and closeout of projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nLead the engineering and delivery of assigned works associated with water treatment plants and treatment infrastructure.\nManage assigned project packages, including scope, program, budget, procurement, subcontractors, quality and technical requirements.\nSupport project procurement, including tender analysis, subcontractor selection, supplier engagement and performance management.\nAdminister relevant contracts, identify variations and ensure appropriate contractual documentation is maintained.\nMonitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, productivity and performance to support strong commercial outcomes.\nSupport project planning, risk management, construction methodologies, programming and project execution.\nCoordinate technical and engineering requirements, including drawings, design interfaces, RFIs and constructability issues.\nCoordinate plant, materials, workforce and subcontractor requirements to support project delivery.\nWork closely with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, crews and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.\nPrepare project reporting and participate in client and project meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks and commercial matters.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to Project Engineers and Site Engineers where required.\nEnsure works comply with safety, quality, environmental, technical and legislative requirements and support project handover and closeout.\nThe successful applicant will ideally have:\n5+ years' experience in Project Engineer and/or Senior Project Engineer roles within civil construction, utilities, industrial or infrastructure environments.\nDemonstrated experience delivering water and/or sewage treatment plant projects or works within operational treatment facilities.\nA relevant qualification in Engineering, Civil Construction or a related discipline.\nStrong experience in project planning, construction delivery and management of project work packages.\nExperience in procurement, subcontractor management and supplier engagement.\nCommercial experience including cost control, forecasting, budgeting, variations and contract administration.\nExperience developing and reviewing construction methodologies, project programs and risk assessments.\nA sound understanding of construction principles within a multidisciplinary contracting environment.\nStrong technical capability with the ability to identify and resolve engineering and construction issues.\nStrong client, stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.\nStrong problem-solving, negotiation, communication and organisational skills.\nExperience using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.\nA strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.\nAbout Us:\nSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
