Based in Perth at our Naval Base operation, this role provides leadership, technical oversight, and operational support to site-based teams.\nReporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of maintenance activities across our operations. You will work closely with the Workshop Supervisors and site teams to drive safe, efficient, and cost-effective maintenance outcomes.\nThis is a Perth-based role with regular site travel as required\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide leadership and technical support to the Workshop Supervisor and maintenance teams\nDevelop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and availability\nOversee planning, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance operations\nReview maintenance performance, KPIs, and reporting to drive continuous improvement\nSupport troubleshooting of major breakdowns and critical equipment issues\nEnsure compliance with safety, statutory, and company requirements\nOptimise maintenance systems, processes, and asset management practices\nManage OEM and contractor relationships\nDrive a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities\nAbout You\nTrade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or equivalent)\nExtensive experience in mining or heavy earthmoving maintenance\nProven leadership experience in a senior maintenance or reliability role\nStrong understanding of asset management, planning, and reliability principles\nExperience working with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi or similar fleets\nHighly developed problem-solving, and decision-making skills\nAbility to influence and support remote teams from a Perth-based role\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nAbout Us\nSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
