The successful candidate will take ownership of stock control, purchasing and operational processes, while identifying opportunities to improve systems, implement new technologies and support business growth.\n\n Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a key role within an owner-managed business, offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational efficiency and overall business performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n Oversee stock management, purchasing, supplier negotiations, freight logistics and inventory planning\n\n Manage stock costing, pricing, price lists and quarterly stocktakes\n\n Monitor financial performance, including P&L, cash flow and foreign exchange movements\n\n Oversee administrative functions, sales and service reporting, and CRM systems\n\n Identify and implement process improvements, automation and new technologies\n\n Manage escalated customer disputes, warranty issues and regulatory submissions\n\n Support business expansion, technology implementation and operational continuity\n\n Oversee administrative controls, staff leave and the continuity of key business functions\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\n Relevant formal qualification\n\n Approximately 5–6 years of relevant operational management experience\n\n Strong financial understanding, including P&L monitoring, cash flow and costing\n\n Experience in stock control, purchasing, supplier management and operational processes\n\n Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills\n\n A
